ARTISTIC THOUGHTS
Meet my new character »Balloonia«. She's a vampire and perhaps the ONLY one in the world who LOVES balloons ... and my living balloon dolls! ;)

My intention is to have this character ready for a new series at my site which involves (of course) sharp teeth and LOTs of popping of hapless balloon dolls (harr, harr). This reflects my erotic taste for vampires. So why not combine it?

The idea for this came from two image of the great artist here at deviantART:

I can not tell how much I enjoy this picutres (and others from him) here at deviantART. :)

TECHNICAL
Making of the character »Balloonia« was more or less drop dead simple just by using the supplied morphs I have and the textures I own for various characters. So here how you can recreate Balloonia by your own in Poser.

Base Figure
DAZ »Victoria 4«

Morphs
Her face is made using a premade morph named »Dixie« from the package »Everyday Face II« available from the artist »Freja« avilable at Renderosity.com. She is modified with the following morphs from the so called »Victoria 4 Morphs ++« available at DAZ 3D. Here are the used morphs and their settings:

Everyday Faces 2:
Dixie: 1,000

Morphs++:
CheeksSink: 1,000
EyesSlant: 1,000
LashesLength: 1,000
LashesTopPoint: 1,000
NailsLength: 2,000
TeethCanineSharpBottom: 1,000
TeethCanineSharpTop: 1,000
ThighsThickness: 0,500
WaistWidth: -0,500

Her breasts (not visible here) are made using the »JawDropper«-package from »Xameva« and »meipe« at Renderotica.com (this is an adult site). While this package is used to produce breasts of the size it's name intended I just dailed them to a very moderate size: 0,100 or 0,200.

Hair
The hair model is the »Pinque Curls Hair« from »Bad Kitteh Co« available at Runtimedna.com. The texture is the supplied black texture.

MakeUp
Now to the most important part: The skin texture, the makeup and so on. This is a texture I've bought part of a whole character set named »Sophie Von Rayne« which was available from »Silver« and »Countess« also at Runtimedna. Unfortunately this package is not available anymore because »Silver« is not selling at Runtimedna anymore. But you can have a look at her product portfolio at Renderosity.com. My best bet on a replacement would be characters like »Gilda« or »Paine«. Don't look at the characters; it's the makeup and skin texture you are looking for.

I've changed the eye color to a glowing blue using PhotoShop. I also made the skin tone more pale again in PhotoShop. Her lip and nail color is the same (also her toenails and her pumps). Its:

#6a0033 (106, 0, 51)

The top of the picture has the same color btw.

Shoes
Balloonia currently wears the »Slingbacks High Heel Shoes« from »Arrin« again available at Renderosity.com. Those shoes do have a lot of texture zones. But I usually do not tinker with them. Those HighHeels are colored all the same, same as her nail color (see above).

ToDo
I still have to work on her a bit:

-- lips: I like her lips to be surrounded by a »darker« line like women did around 10 years ago (loving that style)
-- lips again: I need to get rid off that sharp edge of her lip color
-- skin: her skin pores need to be slightly (very slightly) deeper
-- hair: the hair need some subtle reflections and I may change it into a very dark reddish tone

But this all comes a bit later. ;-)

Conclusion
I've put the whole character »Balloonia« after I've crated her to my taste with all her morphs, hair and her HighHeels into my Poser library. You see: It's not that complicated to actually create a character in Poser. Using the »Morphs ++« does help a lot. Those other morphs I have also helps some. But I could have created a character solely from scratch with those morph. Most important is the skin texture and the makeup though. Spend the money and try to get a character you will love. And we are talking about roughly $10,00 for a descent character, which is not that much.

Hope this helps a little.
